Step By Step - Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180 C
Place the shredded turkey and peas in a 22cm pie dish.
In a blender, mix together the miso, coconut milk and arrowroot powder.
Pour into a saucepan and warm on a medium heat stirring constantly.
Once the sauce has thickened slightly, pour over the turkey and peas.
Roll the pastry on a floured board.
Use a dinner plate to cut a circle (it must be bigger than the circumference of the pie dish)
Use a pastry cutter to cut out stars.
Cover the pie with the pastry and crimp the sides with your fingers.
Wash the top with egg white using a pastry brush.
Top with the cut out stars and wash again.
Bake according to the directions of the pastry manufacturer or until the pastry is a gorgeous golden colour and crispy (roughly about 40 mins to 1 hr).

300g leftover turkey meat, shredded
1 cup frozen peas
1 tin coconut milk
3 Tbsp organic miso paste
1 Tbsp arrowroot powder
Store bought shortcrust pastry
