Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption.
They are only decrypted after they reach our computer.
They are not held in clear text on any website.

Keep your passwords private. Remember, anybody who knows your password may access your account.
When creating a password, use at least 6 characters - a combination of letters and numbers is best.

Access to your information
You have a number of rights relating to your personal information and what happens to it. You are entitled to:
a. have your data processed in a fair, lawful and transparent way;
c. access personal data we hold about you;

g. otherwise restrict or temporarily stop our processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
Archiving your information
It is clearly stated in paragraph 8 and 9 of Farmerís Choice Terms and Conditions (https://www.farmerschoice.co.uk/terms) that it is Farmerís Choice policy to close a customerís account after a period of 24 months of non activity. This will occur after Farmer's Choice contacting said customer to inform them of funds in their account.
The customerís account is closed if there are no orders placed and no payments made on the account for a continuous period of 24 months. The customer would be able to re-activate their account after the 24 months period but before the end of a 36 month continuous period.
If there are no orders on the customerís account for a period of 36 months, Farmer's Choice will retain any credit balance on the account which is more than 3 years old.
As per the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) customer information (personal/transactional) is kept for a maximum of 6 years, for accounting and tax purposes.
After this time, we keep the customer id and last transaction date. All other records are destroyed and sent to HMRC to be written off.
Save as set out in this policy, Farmers Choice Free Range Ltd do not disclose buyers emails addresses to any third parties.
Your Email address will be used to:
a. confirm any order/s you've placed online;
b. send you a welcome email, confirming all the details on how to run your account;
c. keep you informed of any changes made to your account (i.e password confirmations);
d. for replies to any questions raised by yourself;
e. keep you informed of any redeemable vouchers outstanding on your account;
f. notifying you of any special offers or product changes (To opt out: please see below).
How can I get my name removed from the Farmer's Choice Free Range Ltd mailing list?
